All cancers (ICD-9 140–208, excluding 173) age-sex standardized rates per thousand population (± 95% confidence interval) for first, other and all hospital separations, provincial 10% sample, 1991–1998. Rates were standardized to the 1991 BC population. Data points are age-sex standardized rates with confidence intervals for observed data; lines indicate best fit joinpoint regression lines.
